Since in the 1970s Kuwait tourism is getting in a high trend situation. A Minister of Youth & Tourism was published in this time. Kuwaitis was not familiar about tourism and where to go in vacations. A lot of them go to Saudi deserts or at that time Iraq borders. In 1979 Kuwait Towers was opened and the Kuwaitis were very excited about it. It took the government many years 2 to 3 years to build it; GCC countries took that tower as an example and they also started to build their own tourist attractions. All people around the world started to come to Kuwait just to visit the tower. Years passed and the government opened the famous mall that time Souq Sharq. This mall was the first mall that was built beside the seaside. Also in it the first cinema that was built indoor. Kuwait National Cinema Company now (Cinescape) built it first 3 screens in the mall which attracted a lot of people to come to that mall.
